I just read up on the latest roadmap Funcom shared for Dune: Awakening, and I’m pretty pumped about what’s coming through mid-2026. If you haven’t checked it out yet, they’ve laid out a clear plan of free updates and paid DLCs that will really expand the world and gameplay.



First up, in September 2025, we’ll get the Chapter 2 Free Update alongside the big DLC called The Lost Harvest. The best part? If you own the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game, you get The Lost Harvest for free, which feels like a nice bonus for early supporters. Others will need to grab the Season Pass or purchase the DLC separately Dune Awakening Solari.



Looking further ahead, between January and March 2026, Chapter 3 and the Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC will drop. Then, from April to June 2026, there’s Chapter 4 and another DLC titled The Water Wars. While we don’t know many details yet, it looks like the free chapters will continue the main story, while the paid DLCs focus on exclusive content and neat cosmetics.



I’m really glad Funcom is pacing these updates and blending free content with paid expansions, giving players plenty of reasons to keep coming back. Even though no endgame changes are planned for these big expansions yet, the devs are working on important quality-of-life improvements, like making vehicles salvageable and tweaking resource quantities.
