Simple - 1 mg = 1000 mcg.

8000 divided by 1000 is 8.

So 8000 mcg = 8 mg.

You see this with B12 and biotin a lot. Some B12 tablets are 5000 mcg, 8000 mcg, 10000 mcg. That's 5 mg, 8 mg, 10 mg. Same stuff, different number on the front.

Brands like to write 8000 mcg to mg because 8000 looks bigger than 8. But it's the same amount.

Just remove three zeros - 8000 becomes 8.
